Soon we will be coordinating a blanket drive to benefit the Happy Trails Farm Animal Sanctuary in Portage County, Ohio. This organization takes in and cares for farm animals that have been abused or neglected. Right now there is a great need for blankets for many of the smaller animals. Blankets certainly need not be new, but they should be in usable condition. We will update this section as more details are worked out.
We are currently hosting a fundraising/food drive campaign for the Geauga Hunger Task Force of Geauga County, Ohio. There are still many families, individuals, and seniors in the Geauga County area that rely on such a service. This campaign will run through February 2006, since hunger doesn’t really end after the Holiday season! Thank you so much to those who have supported this campaign so far; your efforts are very much appreciated!
From the DMI Staff:
Recently, our attention was drawn to a young woman from the Cleveland Ohio area who is now struggling to raise her two nephews by herself. DMI would like to help her out in some way, and when more information regarding her situation becomes available to us, we will do just that! Please check this section for updates, and thanks always to our advertisers for their support!
